Job Description
Join Lactalis at our plant in Eastern Cape Port Elizabeth Plant and take on an exciting opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in an FMCG operational environment. You will be responsible to assist with the organizing and looking after the products/goods received, stored and dispatched by Dry Store.
Required Skills
• Grade 12
• Diploma in Logistics or equivalent
• A valid forklift driver’s license
• At least 2 years’ experience in receiving of raw material
• Computer literate
• Must be physically strong and fit
• Must be able to do basic calculations and computer literate • Good communication skills
• Strong administration skills
• Willing to work long hours, weekends and public holidays when required
Duties & Responsibilities
• Keeping stock records
• Daily cycle counts
• Receiving, moving, checking and storing incoming goods / raw materials
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Prepare orders by processing request and supply orders
• Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests
• Willingness to assist / help in other departments due to operational requirements
• Operating of a forklift
