SALARY RANGE: R9 531.54 (basic salary excluding benefits)
Qualification and Skills Requirements
• Grade 9
• Grade C Security Certificate
• Compliance with the PSIRA registration
• Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours.
• Basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent sense of judgment
• Can always stay alert.
Work Experience
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience
Primary Function
• The purpose of the job is to provide access control, parameter patrolling, guarding,
security systems operations and general security services to ensure the safety and
security of employees, stakeholders/ clients, assets, information, and building/ facilities.
Key responsibilities:
• Ensuring that all aspects of an access control are complied with.
• Issue access control permits and receive same on departure
• Ensure that all visitors are fetched from reception/access control point and escorted
throughout building by host.
