Southern Sun is an accredited provider with CATHSSETA and offers employees the opportunity to grow and learn with a wide range of programmes run internally.
Externally, Southern Sun supports education, training and development through engagement with various government and private educational tertiary institutes and providers.
Each year Southern Sun works with registered institutions to place students (doing work integrated learning as part of their qualification) at our hotels.
This is done through a designated lecturer at the institution to ensure fairness in the allocation of placements.
We are members of their boards and committees and partner with them to ensure relevant industry learning.
These Work Integrated Learning placements are our preferred method of supporting education and we are not currently offering learnerships.
