TALENT AND RESOURCING ADMINISTRATOR L CENTURION L G4S SECURE SOLUTIONS

JOB INTRODUCTION:

G4S Secure Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated security management solutions, has a vacancy for a Talent and Resourcing Administrator based at our operations in Centurion,reporting to the Talent and Resourcing Manager.

The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role which Talent and Resourcing Administrator plays within a successful business unit. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.

The position requires at least 1-3 years’ experience within a similar environment. Relevant industry related experience would be advantageous.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:

Main Purpose of the Position

To provide consistent and effective administration support to the Talent and Resourcing Department in line with agreed standards and as directed by the Talent and Resourcing Manager

Supporting and Coordinate  the Recruitment and Selection Process

  • Implementation of the Recruitment and Selection Strategy for the G4S Cash Solutions (Pty) Ltd and G4S Secure Solutions (Pty) Ltd
  • Implement approved recruitment policy as set out in the G4S Africa Region Employee Handbook HR Policies and Practices
  • Publish adverts both internally and externally via identified platforms and channels as per policy requirements
  • Compile preliminary shortlists for advertised positions.
  • Ensure interviews are efficiently and effectively coordinated
  • Ensures vetting and screening checks are conducted for all suitable and recommended candidates
  • Ensures the regretting of unsuccessful candidates

Stakeholder Management

 

  • Assist Talent & Resourcing Manager and Talent Acquisition
  • with the the sourcing of qualifying Recruitment service providers
  • Communicate with Recruitment Managers  and assist with any Recruitment and Selection gaps and needs
  • Regular engagements held with Vetting and Screening department  to strengthen partnerships for value added recruitment services
  • Ensures that company interactions with candidates enhance the group’s reputation and brand

Reporting

 

  • Ensures Vacancy Status Reports is Compiled on a weekly basis
  • Assist Talent and Resourcing Manager in ensuring that Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Performance Reports are compiled
  • Assist T&A Team in compilation and in the distribution of the Resourcing report to all relevant stakeholders
  • Assist T &A Team in ensuring that the agency report is compiled and invoices are processed for payment
  • Exit Management Reports Compiled

Talent management and Succession Planning 

  • Assist in coordinating an active talent pipeline (internal and external) for critical positions
  • Assist in coordinating with management regarding current employee compliment and immediate, mid and long-term succession plans
  • Utilising the Company’s systems and processes, manage the Company’s Talent management and Succession planning initiatives across the business (in conjunction with Regional HR Managers and Heads of Departments).

  • Attends Industry events (e.g. expos and summits) and utilise networking opportunities relevant to pipeline building
  • Ensures that the G4S South Africa brand and EVP is promoted effectively through all media channels used for resourcing.
  • Participates in Career Expo where necessary

Health and Safety

  • Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the departmental safety plans for each year.
  • Participate in safety forums created by the company for example safety meetings and safety talks
  • Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
  • Discuss all safety incidents
  • Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management
  • Attend safety education and refresher programs
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures at the workplace
  • Distribute safety information as and when required
  • Wear protective clothing all the time

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Qualification and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management/Industrial or Organizational Psychology recommended
  • Minimum of 1 year in a recruitment and talent management/succession planning experience, preferably in a services industry
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and or exceeding performance objectives
  • Working experience and knowledge in talent resourcing and talent management (incl Systems)
  • Sound knowledge of Vetting and Screening processes
